Our “Buy a Birdie, Help a Buddy” Program subsidizes lessons for gifted and talented American students as well as for (underprivileged) U.S. students of European descent.

GIFTED & TALENTED CHILDREN’S PROGRAM

Some of our subsidized Pro Bono hours are geared toward helping gifted and talented children from underprivileged rural areas. A child’s performance as a citizen in the future is rooted in the education the child receives today. Such education can and should be less costly in the United States than is generally thought.

This 5-year old student already reads and writes at a 3rd grader’s level and was able to understand high school grammar (impromptu reading from”Fibblestax” by Scillian and Darnell).

“Daniel Pink, author of A Whole New Mind, predicts that creative, right-brained people will be in great demand in the 21st century workforce. Arts are fundamental. The great news is that 21st century readiness recognizes that every child should learn in the arts. The goal is not to turn every child into a professional artist but to give them grounding in the arts. A complete education includes arts instruction.” https://artsedge.kennedy-center.org/families/at-school/all-for-arts-education/raising-smart-art-students
