  • Gabriela’s background is international: born in a family of Greek origin from Dobruja (S-E Romania), she studied in Calarasi and Bucharest, Romania. In 1997, she relocated with her family to Naples, Italy, where she studied Italian language and art. She acquired U.S. citizenship in 1997 and has resided in Maryland, New York City, and Texas for the past 28 years (in Texas since 2009). In Washington D.C. and Virginia she instructed and tested U.S. diplomats through Inlingua School. Throughout a 32-year teaching career in which her goal has been to constantly perfect and employ her knowledge of the 4 languages she has expertise in (English, Italian, French and Romanian), Gabriela has also published translations: British and American novels for Colosseum Publishing House in Bucharest, poetry for The American Literary Translators Association at Texas University, a French book for LiterArt XXI (Georgia, U.S.A.), and numerous business books for Open University Business School (U.K.). Recently, she has also taught at public schools in Texas. Her personal articles and poems were published in The International Notebook of Poetry and Origins-LiterArt XXI (U.S.A.).

Affordable fees starting at $25 for a 3o-minute lesson

Most language instruction lessons last 2 hours and cost $60/hour for adults and $45/hour for children.

Fees are based on the course or program desired, the method employed, the number of lessons, and the number of students per class. Customized subject-immersion courses are, generally, more expensive.
